What does keep calm and pinch on mean?
Pinching people is a St. Patrick’s day game. People who wear green pinch people who don’t. “Pinch on” simply means “continue pinching.”
I like St. Patrick’s Day, but I don’t usually spend a lot of time decorating for this day. The first thing I usually do is…… change the outfit on my geese. Yes, geese, lol. A very long time ago a very good friend of mine gave me geese, with a complete wardrobe. You’re never too old to enjoy playing dress up with your stylish resin geese. Thank you Molly 🙂
I love to decorate my fireplace and wanted to do something simple, and I LOVE bunting. I saw this cute tutorial and decided to make it. My friends give me their old books that are all beat up, so I had everything I needed.
I am looking forward to cooking a traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner, who doesn’t love corned beef !
Happy St. Patrick’s Day

About Liz
I am a very casual woman, I live in sloppy shoes, wear jeans and loose fitting clothing almost every day. I work from home and occasionally visit clients at their homes. I share my home with a stubborn old cat named Peanut, an adorable little rescue puppy named Abigail and my better half Don.
I love my home, but better yet, I love what I have done around my home. I love to build things with wood, take someones throw aways and repurpose it into something I love. Finding furniture on the roadside is my biggest addiction, a little chalk paint and new knobs, win win!
My style is hard to explain, early recycle? lol, shabby country, shabby chic, early roadside? I love making STUFF, all stuff 🙂 I love the feeling of doing things myself. Want to know anything else? Feel free to ask… Sincerely, Liz

Your geese made me laugh . . . and LOVE the bunting! I’m definitely going to copycat that idea, Liz! 🙂
Aren’t the geese great, thanks, I have tons of outfits for them, and even outfits for every holiday, lol. You have done bunting before and I love it, but I need to learn to sew, so paper was easy for me 🙂
I like your decor for St. Patty’s day. The Geese are especially cute 🙂
Kenley
Thanks Kenley, I do get a kick out of them, they are part of the family 🙂
Love the bunting! Super cute and economical. 🙂
Thank you, and really easy to make.
Loving your St-Patrick’s day decor; so fun and cute! 🙂
Thank you, love your gold elephant 🙂
thank you! 🙂
The geese are hilarious!!
I get a kick out of them also, it is fun playing dress up at my age 🙂
Love that you have different outfits for the geese! That’s hysterical!
And I remember getting pinched in elementary school because I forgot to wear green on St. Patrick’s Day. Longest recess of my life. I’ve got my shirt all ready to go this Sunday because once pinched, twice shy!
You are the first person that knew what it meant 🙂 What a cute story, wear your shirt proudly.
Those geese are so fun! We don’t decorate much here, either, but you reminded me that I have some St. Patrick’s day fabric I bought (two years ago!) to make buntings.
Thanks, make sure to post pictures !!
My aunt has a goose like yours and all of the outfits. I think female adults never tire out of dressing up their dolls whether it is their little girls, dogs or their geese! Your fireplace is beautiful! I don’t decorate my mantel except for Christmas because I don’t have the time right now. It is so neat to see what others do. Thank you! ~Thea
Thanks Thea, you are right, we never tire of it, I tried with my dog, but she wasn’t a fan.
I love the geese too – they’re fun!
Thanks, they are fun, if I knew how to sew, they would have more clothes, lol.
Love the shamrocks, so festive! We can’t wait to eat our corned beef and cabbage in this house too 🙂
Thanks, and I can’t wait to try your recipe on Saturday 🙂
HaHa what fun! I love those geese!
Thanks, aren’t they a riot, I think I have been dressing them for 15 years.
Those geese are too funny. Love the bunting!
Thank you, I get to change them on Monday for Easter 🙂
I have never decorated for St. Patrick’s day,but these ideas are so fun!
